Okay the Game Port is obsolete. But.... What we do now with all these devices that only works with the Game Port???

Many of them with few use, almost new. If Microsoft does not want to give more support for this device and the drivers, we will have to throw all this to the trash. Tons of garbage, millions of devices without use just because one company with much responsibility over the world does not want to give more support to a damn device.

We cannot donate it to the charity because these devices cannot work properly without the right driver.

Millions of children dying of famine. They don't even know what is a toy and much less a computer, a joystick, a joypad, a MIDI keyboard.... etc.

BUT.... LET'S MAKE MORE GARBAGE!!! OH YEAH!!!

The awful truth is that the world of computers should stop A LITTLE the cart. The industry of computers is one of the major manufacturers of garbage because everything become obsolete very very quickly.

also is a matter about freedom: I cannot use my devices never any more just because somebody has decided without the opinion of the rest of the world, (we the users) that the port in where they have to be connected is obsolete and that never any more we will could use it, just because the drivers never will be available anymore. And what we do now with them???
First they sell the awesome devices and later one day they decides that they are obsolete, and then they retire the drivers.

I think I have right to use my devices untill they break, not when nobody says and they are still useful.

By chance, I'm a fan of Bill Gates and Microsoft but I think that they have hurried a little, perhaps too much, taking decisions. because is still soon for the death of Game Port because is still useful. Not much but useful yet.
